Fashion Spotlight on Chef Tee!

Hello MaMichoux Friends,

Since I started our “Features” column, I have had a lot of positive feedback. We will try to feature each week someone or people doing amazing work around the world. This weekend it’s all about eating delicious meals while staying healthy with no other than Chef Tee!

Tee Tande is a Cameroonian born, vibrant and enthusiastic renowned Chef living in Chicago, USA. She holds a B.Sc in Public Health with emphasis on Health Administration from the Northern Illinois University. She has been working with Wheaton Franciscan Services for the past 12 years as a health care professional and holds a National Administration Certification for short and long term care administrators.

She’s also the founder and CEO of Cooking with Terese which is our focus today. Cooking With Terese (CWT) is a healthy eating TV show started in 2014 and hosted by Tee Tande herself. It broadcasts weekly on Cameroonian Television channels CRTV and Canal2 English.

CWT doesn’t only cook food but cooks healthy food, giving tips on ingredients to avoid or those to add or substitute. She keeps fit not only through her cooking but also physically. She’s the fittest Chef I have seen! A role model to definitely follow. Her recipes can be found on her Facebook page Cooking with Terese(with over 30K likes) and you can watch the shows on her youtube channel Terese Tande.

Below you can find pictures of some dishes she has prepared on the show and how delicious and healthy they look, won’t you agree! Tee also is a great supporter and promoter of start ups and up coming businesses. She wears T shirts to support or even orders items as she did with “Africstylefashion”, an online shopping platform for up coming African designers world wide. You should check out their website at www.africstylefashion.com. In the picture below below we see her wearing green to support Iya Bekondo, founder of the Iya Foundation, in their fight against Kidney failure and diseases. March is Kidney Awareness month. Wear green on March 10th(World Kidney Awareness Day) to support this fight.

Make sure to follow Tee on her journey to improve lives through eating healthy and staying fit.

Stay healthy and glammed with CWT

Matt
